Material choices are assessed in context rather than labelled simply as “good” or “bad”. We research and specify materials across composition, sourcing, technical performance, durability, material-health information, reuse and disassembly potential, and end-of-life, alongside aesthetics, budget and availability.

Our approach to wellbeing draws on principles from the WELL Building Standard and biophilic design. We consider factors such as light, acoustics, thermal comfort, material emissions, connection to nature and sensory experience alongside the functional needs of the people using the space.

With 10+ years of experience in interior architecture and a specialist focus on materials, we combine design expertise with material research. From early strategy through to specification and delivery, we develop interiors that balance aesthetics, functionality, performance and informed material decisions.
