You have various options for getting in touch with us. These include the contact form, registering for events or sending us an email. In this context, we process data exclusively for the purpose of communicating with you. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. The legal basis for processing your personal data is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in conjunction with Sections 85 and 23 of the German Copyright and Copyright Act) in taking and publishing photos of this event for public relations and image building purposes. Your rights will be appropriately considered when taking and publishing the photos. The photos are reviewed before publication. Images that could be defamatory will not be published.
Only in individual cases do we obtain express prior consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, insofar as this is required by data protection law.

After publication, you can object to the further publication of photos in which you appear at any time. To do so, reach out to the contact shared at the beginning of this Privacy Policy. The photos will then be immediately removed and deleted from the relevant platform(s).
The specific purpose and location of publication will be announced at the respective event. Images will generally not be passed on to third parties. However, we reserve the right to make them available online using an appropriate processor. We would also like to point out that when providing information online, it cannot be ruled out that the images will be stored and used for other purposes by third parties. Should you become aware of such third-party use, we will be happy to support you with the information we have in any legal proceedings.

Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyze and improve our website based on your user behavior. The data collected in this context may be transferred by Google to a server in the USA for evaluation and stored there. In the event that personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield. However, your IP address will be shortened before the usage statistics are analyzed, so that no conclusions can be drawn about your identity. For this purpose, Google Analytics has been extended on our website with the code "anonymizeIP" to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses.
Google will process the information obtained through the cookies to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage.
You can configure your browser to reject cookies, as shown above, or you can prevent the collection of data generated by cookies and related to your use of this website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser add-on provided by Google. When you use the button, Google saves the information that you have given a "+1" for a specific web content, as well as information about the site you have viewed. The "+1" buttons you have given can be displayed on Google Plus and other Google services together with your user profile details (possibly also with your name and photo). You can find more information about this in Google's privacy policy.

In principle, we only store personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the contractual or legal obligations for which we collected the data. After that, we delete the data immediately, unless we still need the data until the expiration of the statutory limitation period for evidentiary purposes for civil claims or due to statutory retention periods. For evidentiary purposes, we must retain contract data for a further three years from the end of the year in which the business relationship with you ends. Any claims will expire at this point at the earliest, according to the statutory limitation period. Even after that, we must sometimes retain your data for accounting purposes. We are obligated to do so due to statutory documentation obligations that may arise from the German Commercial Code (HGB), the German Tax Code (Abgabenordnung), the German Banking Act (Kreditwesengesetz), the German Money Laundering Act (Geldwäschegesetz), and the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz). The retention periods specified therein range from two to ten years.
